Yes nuss grossly underperformed and didn’t take the leap we expected. But man it’s clear that kid loved and took pride being a tiger. Injuries , a poor scheme and Brian Kelly’s incompetence failed this kid just as much as his own limitations into terms of lack of mobility and poor decision making. Can’t help but feel for the kid thinking he passed on prob being a 2nd rounder in the draft next year to come back to school to win a title and it ended with him not even able to suit up in his last game in tiger stadium .

He will end up somewhere between JJ and Jamie Howard in LSU history

Since it’s over now, I think we can all kind of give the kid some respect. I’m fine with that. He was our QB for a lot of games and some were very fun to watch last year. He just wasn’t championship good. And that’s ok because very few are. He won a good amount of games for us. So I appreciate him. And his numbers last year were very very impressive.
It’s hard to follow Burrow and JD. Very hard.

Who is the creep leaning on the goal post trying to low-key video?

It does suck.
I watched some highlights from OU last year and Nuss was kicking so much arse (minus a strip sack).
What the hell happened

With the proper coaching and o line he could have went far. To bad he was given neither of those things.

I think it’s probably a combination of things. Mysterious injury, laziness in leadership, laziness in preparation, etc. The head coach sets the tone. I’m not excusing him in any way. He’s an adult who got paid big money and didn’t perform. But I don’t hate the kid and can show him some level of respect for what he did do.

He will be on an NFL roster next year.

With a very lazy work ethic to try and get better, yes it’s impossible to match Burrow and JD. Those two were in the door before daylight and the last ones to leave everyday. Nuss thought that was dumb. Nuff said.

easily. he was hurt all year

He’s a loser. He’ll make another few million $ on a signing bonus for some sorry nfl team and we’ll never hear of him again. Adios.

Certainly did not seem to enter the year in good shape, maybe due to injury but one does have to question his work ethic.
Hope good things for him and all ex Tigers but glad we are moving on to another different hopefully fully engaged competitive QB.
Ask yourself, did you ever see Nuss run one time and look like he was not going to be stopped until he scored or got the first down--I have not. I did see that with Daniels and Burrow often.

Good job. You just grossly disrespected three great Tiger QBs in only nineteen syllables.
