Frank Wilson told the team they could wear whatever they want to…..hoodies, shorts, jeans etc….This is a complete deviation from the norm of suits. Which many players were dressed in!! That’s bullshite Frank, do better.

Of all the things to complain about with the current state of the program, you’re mad because they weren’t wearing suits to walk down the hill? Some of y’all are hilarious.

They certainly played like they dressed.

Give them a break. They all aren't getting NIL $$$. Probably been a pretty shitty year for most of them.

Maybe they should all wear team issued gear. The whole suit thing is weird to me, they are college kids going to play a game in a sweaty arse stadium on grass and dirt.

He also let their families go with them… or at least the coaches.

The horror

I can gripe about way more than what they wear

Suits were good back 20 years ago, but now it has gotten out of hand. Everyone is all about me and seeking attention for themselves. I think a better move would be to switch to a standard, team-issued windbreaker suit

I have a problem with players more worried dressing flashy for instagram likes than playing football

When Frank coached O. Perry Walker High School in New Orleans, he made his players wear suits to class all day on game days.

Wrong.

It was about swagger. If you look good, and feel good, you play good.

Burrow had some flashy suits and played like it.

They are business men going to work. Dress the part! You act the way you dress and people treat you according to the way you dress. Years ago at a school I taught, Student Council had 1 day a month that students dressed up. Students loved showing their nice clothes to everyone. The discipline problems were down to almost zero each day.

Jonboy: I agree, disorganized, free for all and no leadership. I guess this ship has no captain.

So they all had to suddenly sell their suits they've been wearing so the could afford to eat?

Ordinarily, i would agree with you. As a fan, i like the suits.
But here, Wilson is looking to please the players, not the fan's sense of tradition.
The team has pretty much lost fan loyalty , but Wilson has to keep the team together for at least another week. I don' t know whether a few players asked him to do this, or what, but if creates unity in the locker room, that's good.
