I wouldn't call it illegitimate yet. But I think you'd understand why most baseball fans aren't fully counting it yet and are taking a wait and see approach

As a Rangers fan, I fully recognize and congratulate the Astros for the 2022 title.
I will also admit they were on their way to back-to back titles in 2023…. Until the miraculous Ranger’s run started. That’s what makes the 2023 ALCS & World Series so much sweeter.

Double digit IQ take that’s 22 isn’t legit. While I scream about the asterisk year, I would look down upon any Houston ‘fan’ that acknowledged and/or denounced any wrongdoing.

What a weird trade. Don’t exactly need infielder. I guess this means Mets are offloading McNeal..maybe making room for Benge in outfield.
