Yeah as clear as it is to many of us that Lane is the guy, nearly as many are going to bitch about his salary, say he will leave in three years, whatever they can find to bitch about.


Personally, as much as I have wanted him in BR for years now, I won’t melt if he stays in Oxford, I could see it.

I also wouldn’t find it outrageous if he goes to UF. The family connection, his previous experience that he loved in the state, and his admiration of Spurrier all make it seem like that would be a “dream job”. Of course the admin and NIL situation there doesn’t seem ideal, but ours has questions too.

I would be extremely worried that he would build a juggernaut there, but knowing the intangibles that pointed him there and not being on our schedule every year would make it easier to not freak out about.
