Florida has all but officially moved on from Kiffin

I never post (hence my username) and you fine folks have no reason to believe what I have to say. That said, I thought I’d share what I’ve been told.
Florida made a final offer a few hours ago to Kiffin’s representation that included more money per for Kiffin, but less commitment to NIL.
The offer was significantly more than what LSU has offered to pay him as head coach.
But, millions less than what’s been reported LSU is willing to commit to football specific NIL. Florida’s thinking is they’d rather pay the man and trust he can develop (as he’s done at Ole Miss) with less in terms of roster dollars spent.
Do what you will with this information.

Not really seeing how your post meshes with your thread title.

Get back to me when he signs somewhere. I still believe he stays at Ole Miss

Kiffin has said it’s not about money (for him). Florida pushed all their chips in, in a last ditch effort to give him an offer he can’t refuse so to speak in terms of monetary value.
This the last offer.
This the last offer.

Quite stupid imo because he’s been on the record for saying his own salary is less important than having more NIL money

So where’s the “moved on” part come into play?

This is not true, you were told bad info.
Lane Kiffin will be the next coach at LSU formal announcement next Saturday.

Kiffens lived and died off the portal and has mastered it. He’s never had a top 10 finish at ole piss

That makes zero sense.
If you’re committing $X million anyway, why not just split it up the way the man wants it split up?

Multiple sources saying salary is comparable. LSUs structured NIL is better than other 2-which is a major asset for the good guys.
I believe what lurking is sharing…

I asked a similar question. The explanation I was given is that Florida has some sort of equity clause in their NIL distribution. Meaning, the football program can’t surpass a certain percentage of dollars distributed comparatively to other programs at the university. They maxed it out and Kiffin wanted more.
So their only play was to offer him more. He can technically choose to distribute this on his own, but that’s unlikely.

Let’s say hypothetically your info is accurate. Even if Florida started to get to a point where LSU thought we were losing I believe we’d counter offer with the continued high NIL. A lot of big boosters are all aboard the Lane Train and do not want another Brian Kelly show.
