Why do we have to listen to Pelicans Basketball instead of the LSU game on WWL radio?
Can’t follow the game when you work night shift.
The Pelicans are terrible!!!!

WWL is the official radio station for the Pelicans. This would be like the Saints not getting played on WWL.

LSU is on 105.3 FM (WWL) and the Audacy app.

You can listen to them on the LSU athletics app also. I live out of state and that’s what I do. Pretty nice to sit out, smoke a cigar, and listen to a tiger game.

And LSU isn't terrible? What the frick?

Dummies downvoting me for no reason. I'm right as always. Barely beating Western Kentucky.

Well WWL is a New Orleans station and the Saints and Pelicans are New Orleans teams. LSU is not. It’s that simple.

Listening to Graff cry and moan after each Pelicans possession is literally nails on a chalkboard

Listening to Graff cry is a longstanding New Orleans tradition. He used to cry about Tulane baseball when they were going to the CWS.

LSU football has been broadcasted for generations on WWL. My Dad in his upper 80’s would listen when he was in college.

Yeah. The reach of WWL AM was so great you could pick up LSU games over almost 1/3 of the country.
