Is it known that Drinkwitz is LSU backup?

Seems like that’s the common knowledge, but I figured it was Dillingham.

I don’t think Drink is a bad coach. I don’t think he would “fail” here but he gives off Kelly minus 20 years vibes. He will win at a decent clip but a title will always be out of reach.

I do think he would be better than Kelly fwiw. I think the argument everyone had about Kelly sort of applies more to Drink. He does what he does without a lot of NFL talent so when he loses to better teams it’s usually because of glaring talent disparity.

I’d rather a lot of OC and dcs before drink. Drink should cause a fan riot to stop it just like Aggy and Tennessee did

If Drinkwitz is the answer after Kiffin then we aren’t asking the right questions. Drinkwitz shouldn’t be anywhere in our top 10.
