Interesting hearing somebody who coached in the sec a majority of his career and also coached at LSU give his opinion of the coaching search.
But pointed out the players Lane could get at LSU are going to be superior to Ole Miss

Funny thing is they were all advocating “stay and be happy, build it” “they’ll put a statue up”

Yeah I think they are just trying to stick up for the little guy in Ole Miss but the reality is he could stay at Ole Miss and never have a legitimate championship contender.

It aggravates me seeing all these people have an opinion on what a coach should do. It was the same thing when LSU hired BK. Let someone make their own decisions in life without injecting your opinion on it. Most everyone would leave their job at the drop of a hat if offered

Both sides make valid points. Saban is more interested in titles, while the others prefer building a legacy maybe absent titles.

I was watching saban’s posture and mannerisms closely during that segment.
He knows. Appears verge paid and needed saban’s help with getting Lane.
Saban made sure at the end of that segment to build the case why LSU is a better job than Ole Miss. will be holding my breath but sure does look like saban knows the Lane is coming to LSU
