Was listening to Moscona on Locked On today and he shared that he believes this is shaping up as an OM/LSU battle with Florida having fallen well behind. He also said that he has spoken with folks who have directly talked to Kiffin and have said that NIL/Rev Share is Kiffin's top priority in this. The reported meeting between the OM AD and Kiffin tomorrow is supposed to entail a new NIL proposal from OM.

It has also been put out there by local and national reporters that LSU is offering NIL commitments of $30Mil+ annually for Kiffin.

What is interesting, however, is that Chris Phillips with SEC Unfiltered is today reporting (supposedly from a trusted LSU source) that OM is preparing an annual $40Mil NIL package in the meeting tomorrow. IF this is the case, I would be surprised to see Kiffin leave OM. Big "IF" however.

ETA: I genuinely don't care if you don't like Moscona. Not asking you to like him. But he's reporting firsthand conversations with the actual people who would know.

So at the very least, Kiffin stays but LSU causes them to break the bank!! Then we can go hire Dilly and out spend Ole Miss in NIL.

I’m confident Lane is staying at OM if that’s the case

OM doesn’t have the horses to pony up that much cash year in year out. They can do it once every 3-4 years. Not every year.

Ole Miss can’t afford that every year. MAYBE every couple of years.

I call bullshite, but if that's true, I guess they're gonna win this battle. And if it's true and he comes to LSU anyway, then we've got a super bought in coach.

I don’t really doubt that douchescona has sources, but to act like he gets info before anyone else or more info than anyone else is ridiculous.

He had no fricking clue BK was getting fired. In fact, he was screaming that BK wasn’t getting fired…

He knows absolutely nothing more than ESPN or any other beat reporter.

Dude is such a clown.

Why haven’t they used all this NIL money to secure rosters that are deep and can actually compete with GA, Bama, TX, Ohio St for national championships?

OM will still have the same rosters as always. Elite players want big stadiums and to play for the elite teams.

He also said that Lane believes the new NIL is going to tilt back toward more of the Blue Bloods. If this is the case, then LSU would be a much more desirable destination.

I get some of you don't like him, but at least differentiate between his editorializing and reporting. You can hate every opinion he has and think he's dumb. I don't care and nobody is trying to change your mind. But reporting first hand conversations with people who WOULD know is just factual reporting. Doesn't matter how you feel about him.

They still don’t have a 100,000 k fans, the facilities, the trophies in the case, and the biggest thing the LSU brand. A billion dollars of players in the NFL. So Lane cannot get that there.

Moscona has an incredible ability of saying things that people already know and never saying anything people don’t already know.

I don’t have a problem with that. But, those same people who would know are the same people who have told everyone else.

He acts like he knows MORE than you everyone else, and he just doesn’t.

This is the reality I believe. No clue if $40M is achievable,, but even $30M is an insane number. I do believe that the meeting tomorrow is significant. And I believe OM will commit to a lot.
