Their message boards don’t seem to be worried at all. Maybe our hopes are a bit high and he’s just playing us. He seems like a pretty loyal guy, I can’t see him just leaving like that.

I think LSU played their best hand, but it's going to fall short in favor of OM. Fully expecting to see tweets from the big dogs in the media tomorow that Lane is expected to stay at Ole Miss.

They are seeing his happy side. They are ignoring his dark side. It will appear after the State game or the 1st playoff game. He's not getting past A&M, UGA, bama or OSU. Whether we get him or UF, he's gone.

If he stays, he always has option to leave later. So there’s that.

The main factor he has to consider is which and if and when a “better job” will come available again?

And what if he can’t sustain this recent Ole Miss ‘success’ longterm… then he’s no longer really coveted in this same way by anyone years from now if so.

This is his chance to jump. Does he jump? We’ll see.

As far as Ole Miss fans confidence,,, that’s a joke. They have no reason to be confident about anything ever. GEAUX to hell, Ole Miss.

Lane ain't gonna win a NC at OM and only the deaf, dumb, and blind have trouble with this truth

A runt is a runt and all the angels saying otherwise makes no difference

He may not come to LSU but he will either leave for another Blue Blood or go to the NFL

My gut says the same. That he stays.

But he will be doing this again when Texas and/or Bama open up

Ole Miss fans, I don’t know how yall do it.

He would be dumb to leave unless he wanted to go back to the NFL.
