Fox News Poll: Voters say White House is doing more harm than good on economy…
You can thank Marco! He and the other neocons in the Trump admin are doing a bang-up job! I have a real sense of deja-vu!

The president receives his top marks on border security (53% approve). Nearly half approve of his handling of immigration (46%), while a new low approves on the economy (38%), and about one-third approve on tariffs (35%) and healthcare (34%).
A lot of folks in the bubble deny the rising tide of discontent.

I’ve never been polled once. I’m 44. Odd.

Luckily that’s a stat that can be turned around if things start going well at some point

I don’t need a poll to tell me that people’s confidence in the economy is shaky. I work in a construction related industry and — excepting the madness of the COVID-1984 — new construction starts are lower than at anytime since the Great Recession.

Well good. They should write down their name so they don't receive the $2000 stimulus check. Oh, no The EBT crowd are ungrateful. Reeee

You mean business construction was booming from a Covid bounce back and 20,000,000 illegals invading us? While you’ll go through a correction, other industries are thriving. I’m in staffing and am seeing the same with layoffs from over hiring after Covid, but there’s huge buzz for what’s to come.

I agree and the good news is It can be turned around starting tomorrow. According to that poll, Trump is upside down on the economy and foreign policy but he is right side up on crime and border security.
Trump need only to jettison the neocons from his administration and start to focus like a laser on the economy; then those two categories will correct themselves. It may be a case of broke clocks and blind squirrels but Trump would do well to follow Gollum’s advice:

I work in the construction industry as well. It's as strong as it's ever been. Im in NWArkansas so it might be better than your "worse than the great recession" bullshite your spewing.

Is this the same FoxNews that called AZ when the polls closed, and it then turned out to be the closest of all the states?
I'm sure its on the up and up

Lies. You're telling me "polls" say the economy was better with 9% inflation, 10% mortgages. $5.00 gas, $4.95 eggs etc. ??? Now inflation is 2.5% eggs $1.97 today, gas $2.35 today, interest rates down to under 6 percent. That's pure BS. And how about that stock market???

Construction was booming before COVID-1984 because voters had confidence the economy was headed in the right direction. That was, until Trump himself threw a spanner into the works.

If you wouldn’t mind, please share the exact identity of these supposed hardcore neocons that close to Trump in his administration who have the level of influence to literally mold Trump’s positions and decisions in the way you’re claiming. And what you’re relying upon to make said claim.
I specifically mentioned the main one above.

I say the same thing about Trump Admin’s sudden focus on regime change operations.

And that’s the evidence of (1) Trump (and his major Presidential decisions in this area) being unduly influenced by (2) administration official Rubio who is unquestionably and inarguably a neocon to his core? (I.e. not merely someone who is called a neocon, but the person calling him that would have difficulty explaining in detail his reasoning for such.)

I like how people think the president should only focus on one thing because that's all they can manage.
They think the way to success is for the president to ignore half of his responsibilities.
It's also amazing that they think people like Bessent who are responsible for the economy are assisting military operations instead of focusing on their responsibilities. These people have never heard of specialization. They think everyone in the administration gets together to focus on a single issue despite their areas of expertise.

Neocon is not some made-up boogeyman word to describe someone whose political style I dislike; it is an actual ideology which promotes a world view which would be an anathema to our nation’s founders. Neoconservatives view this nation’s founding as a continuation of the imperial tradition, not a revolutionary break from it.
Neocons look wistfully upon the demise of the British Empire and thus posit that the stability of liberal society in the modern world is contingent upon immense imperial power. In the neocons viewpoint, the United States’ willingness to inherit the responsibilities of the British Empire following the end of WWII was instrumental in averting a potential crisis in Western liberalism.
Neocons thus believe that the United States exists to exhort it’s will upon the world — by violent means if necessary. Marco Rubio — as both a Senator and Secretary of State — has revealed himself to be a neoconservative in both word and deed.
