Would Kiffin coach bowl game (at LSU)

This is assuming he is hired here sometime before the end of the season.

I would not expect that he would coach versus Oklahoma, but perhaps the bowl game?. This is uncharted territory

He is not taking over and coaching a team that he’s spent zero time with lol. Doesn’t have any type of playbook or system yet

not really. Brian Kelly coached Cincinnati's bowl game in 2006 after getting hired.

No. Let him focus on recruiting and putting a staff in place. That goes for any coach we may hire. He can be involved with the team but let him start focusing on next year.

No, and I wouldn’t want him to. I’d rather he focus on building the 2026 roster from day one.

Not to mention that it would bring negative PR because the media coverage would be "Lane Kiffin abandons Ole Miss before playoff run to coach LSU in the Texas Bowl". And it would be a constant talking point for the announcers during the actual game broadcast.
