Why is this a thing? It’s like they’re always asking a question. Are they unsure about everything they say?

Why cant the younger generation speak with conviction?

It’s called up speak. It’s annoying as hell and seems ignorant like they are hedging their statement and asking a question.

People have been doing this for decades, perhaps it's more prevalent now?

Actually walked the Tomball lot last weekend. They have a couple nice 2500s on the used lot. Wife wants me to bite the bullet, but Tundra keeps purring.

It’s rampant in corporate America among lower and mid levels.

Major career obstacle if people don’t make a conscious effort to correct habit. Executives don’t speak like that.

"Texted" is the past tense of "Text"
Apostrophes no longer exist in sentences.

"I had text John the other day about how he got Mike phone"
