Unless it’s all staged. Prolong and push lsu /Florida to wait to find their coach and miss recruiting dead lines. And to make it look like he chose ole Miss over them.

The family private jet visits to BR and Gainesville, pissing off/trolling his own fans, and the obvious distraction and attention shift from his CFP-bound team sort of invalidates the theory.

Yeah, all he would have to do is say I was offered this much from LSU and this much from Florida and I told him to frick off right away. He would look like the biggest hero in history at Ole Miss. This is not accomplishing that lol

How many other coaches got extended already and they were all announced within 24 hours? This is a really bad look for Ole Miss and LK if does in fact choose to stay at this point. He's been flirting with the enemy and the longer it drags out, the more I want to say he's leaving.

If the fans and everyone feels like this fiasco cost them a chance at a championship, that would be a tough repair. But I guess it’s possible.

I think you underestimate how quickly that frustration will turn to elation for Ole Miss fans if he announces he's coming back. That gives them the "LSU wants our coach and can't have him" talking point.

This is how I see it as well. I keep seeing people saying that Kiffin is obviously staying at Ole Miss. I think all of this means that he's leaving. At this point, it feels like he's just saying all of these wonderful things about Ole MIss so people know how much he really does love it there.

If so, then he needs to do this pretty quickly because if it drags on then the team and fans will be like "eh, so what"
