The media’s new found love for Massie and MTG

My point here really isn’t about whether I think Massie or MTG are right about some specific issue or not, and of course I am happy for Massie and his marriage, and grieve the tragedy with his first wife. Massie is my rep and have met him on a few occasions. He is genuinely a pretty good, down to earth guy.
With that said, the media would have never of written some front page, glowing puff piece about him ever before, prior to this Trump feud. But now all the sudden when there is a wedge they can drive, Massie is a darling of theirs.
Not even excusing some of Trumps boorish behavior and comments. We just all know the media's agenda, and I do raise concern about any Republican or conservative who the media takes a sudden liking to. It should be seen as a character flaw if the media is not ripping you apart on a daily basis.

Are you concerned about them being right or are you concerned about how the media treats them?
Part of your post is 100% correct. The media HATES Trump. They'll push anybody that disagrees with him on any point, especially a Republican. So if you require 100% purity when it comes to the media treatment, what you're really saying is that they can't ever disagree with Trump.

It should be very concerning when someone like Massie (who is consistently rated 90%+ on liberty scores) is getting media praise.
They used to hate him and would never have written article like this a few years ago, basically humanizing him. The media never puts pieces like this out there unless there is an agenda behind it. Massie is obviously going along with whatever agenda that is, and has no issue with it.

I wouldn't call that an admission, I just answered a question.
I think we're owed evidence and/or some sort of public explanation besides "it was all a hoax". I'm in favor of anything that pushes us in that direction, just like I'd be in favor of a small budget cut even though a big one would be preferable. Just give America some sort of plausible truth. I don't care who calls for it, I don't care who gets credit or wins the shite-slinging war on X.

This is nothing new. And it’s why I despise the trash, garbage, media.
They hated GWB. They attacked everything about him including the First Lady and his kids. They continued hating and blaming him throughout the Obama presidency.
Now look. They love him. Have done puff pieces and one on one glowing interviews with him. And one of the twins they painted as a spoiled brat that was out of control is now featuring prominently on the Today show. The very show that used to parrot all the hate GWB talking points.
They run cover for their darlings, twist reporting to mask hypocrisy, serve as attack dogs and repeat verbatim what the democrats hand them. It’s no coincidence that the very same words are spoken over different networks to describe and attack. And then they award people who come to their point of view and serve as a tool for their attack pieces.
They have no shame, no morals, and no ethics.
And the people that sit and absorb all their crap, who take what they are told and repeat something as gospel, are the epitome of idiots. Complacent, useful, idiots that believe someone they have never met as a supreme authority on something.

Truly, I do not disagree with this. But the media will use anything they can get away with. Either for clicks, an agenda or both.
