My son goes to LSU. If I’m Lane Kiffin where is the best place to put my son as a high school QB. LA or FL? Just curious I know some of you guys know for sure. Could that be a selling point for us?

If you’re good, you can play in Alaska and schools will recruit you.

think this is more of a question of where will you get better coaching and competition rather than visibility. Lane Kiffin’s son will get exposure regardless of if he’s good or not.

That’s a good point I just didn’t know if he may see pedigree better in one or the other.

Being biased, I would say LA, but you'd be fine either way.

lol I hate being downvoted on a serious question. I wish I could attend some of y’all’s Fridays. It’s terrible up here. I just wanted to get a feel how y’all felt. I know there’s tons of talent in LA and locking down the state is a must and we have to do that every year. I just wasn’t sure what y’all’s vibes were on how Lane may be thinking as a dad since y’all are there. Thanks fellas

The number 1 QB for 2027 goes to Dunham, a small private school in BR that Derek Stingley attended. It is not a powerhouse football school by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah I’ve read a lot about Haven. He seems like a great QB.

Florida has more dominant schools because of population, but Louisiana is starting to shell out QBs with the best of them. He’ll do just fine at either state and will see a step up in talent from Columbus MS regardless. (I played half my highschool ball in LA and then second half in MS, I can confirm that part at least. lol)

Bet you a small, little school in Uptown NOLA has produced more D1 and SB QB than your big high school.

Newman.
