We need to get stiff on the people who facilitate this. You let a illegal rent from you, your property gets seized. You hire illegals, million dollar fine per head

Exactly... my son's elementary school back in, 2013-2027**... had a poster at the front door updated daily with % attendance and goals. Incentivized with parties and whatnot.
**ETA... frick... 2013-2017... I will let my error stand as a testament to my fat fingers and failure to preview worth a damn.

15% are illegal? The usual absence rate is 7.85%. Increasing from 7.85% to 15% does not suddenly mean that everyone who skips school is illegal. When you factor in that Monday is the 2nd highest school absence rate of the week the actual number of students skipping school due to the raids is likely closer to 5%.
Of course many of these students are likely citizens whose households were disrupted by the raids, lowering the percentage of undocumented even more.

I read somewhere (but have not researched) that the figure is inflated because of the way they counted the kids. Like multiple counts for same student.

I was speaking with the manager of a taqueria by me the other day and he said 60% of their business has been lost the last couple months due to ICE raids. They’re scared to come out he said so everyone is chilling at the house now instead of out drinking in the evening.
