Impossible not to like him. Spent the majority of his speech praising others

His respect is earned.

Not demanded.

That's what makes him different from most of current day Hollywood.

Tom loves movies more than Xenu. Wish they would have done this during the actual ceremony in March because he deserves the audience.

Everything Everywhere All at Once won over Top Gun: Maverick and that movie was dog shite.

He has turned in a bunch of great performances over the last 40 years.

I was in the room last night and he could not have been more gracious, especially to my mentor and friend Wynn Thomas (the reason I was there). I am actually featured a little in that video. Our table was a few over from he and Spielberg, Bruckheimer and Inarritu.

TC stayed in the ballroom for at least an hour after taking the time to meet and greet. A true pro and gracious person. And genuinely happy for all.

The level of fame in there was ridiculous as all the award hopeful actors descended ... Sweeney, Sandler, Leo, The Rock ... you name it. Every time I turned around it was somebody. Pretty cool experience.

More of a sharing of a cool experience with some insight to the event that was posted about. But I get the sentiment.

Thanks FK ......

I almost went up to Spielberg, but chickened out. Not sure what I would have said anyway. I did visit Park Chan Wook's table since I had worked him years ago, though I don't think he remembered me. I told he and the lead actor from No Other Choice how much I enjoyed it and they had my vote in a couple of months.

I am really happy for my guy Wynn and was thankful to be a part of it.

Him and Jamie Foxx were absolute money in Collateral. I wish that would've been nominated/won more awards than it did, it's phenomenal.

I think I'd rather meet PCW and Lee Byung-Hun anyway Legends

That was incredible. One of the best acceptance speeches I’ve ever heard. Truly.

He's the only current movie star.

He should have won for Jerry Maguire and he should have been nominated and won for Rain Man. His performance in Rain Man was outstanding.

I've read stories from multiple people on TD (maybe one of yours) and elsewhere that Cruise has a practically photographic memory when it comes to people that he's worked with. Like running into one of "the help" that he'd worked with once 5 years prior, and remembering not only their name, but family details, hobbies, etc.

Also, you should start an AMA on here.
