The beauty of this is that if we double down by both stealing their head coach and stop him from coaching our rival in the playoffs, Ole Miss would really just be furthering LSU interests even more.

So if he doesn’t sign an extension he is getting fired and they’re paying his buyout? I don’t see it.

This is a bad look for all parties right now. I don't see why Ole Miss would not want him Coaching the team. Idk why Lane wouldn't want to Coach his team in the Playoffs.

Agree 100% Why would a school on the verge of playoffs want to run off a coach before hand, even if the rumors of his agent shopping him around are true?
Why would LSU want a guy that abandoned his team before said playoffs just to come here for more money?
