Young, innovative and scoring mega points weekly. Currently sitting at 9-1 and has the mean green ranked 22. Why not him? He’s hungry and brings something to the table schematically. Our next hire needs to be a play caller, tired of the CEO BS. Go get him!

Kiffin is a pipe dream. Not to mention he’s gonna be playing in January most likely. I don’t see him coming to BR, we def don’t need to put all our eggs in that basket.

Because he’s had like 3 winning seasons in 7 years of head coaching and he got absolutely torched by the only good team he’s played this season?

Doesn’t appear at the moment he’ll be playing in December, much less January.

He gone. MissSt will be his last game at Ole Miss imo.

Kiffin hasnt won shite and will require 15M. There are a lot of other coaches you could be at a lower price. Hell, Drink is a better football coach.

He’s young and doing more with less. He’s at freaking UNT. He’s what football is in 2025 young and offensive minded.

He’s relatively the same age or older than Drink, Dillingham, and Golesh, all of whom have more success as a head coach at the FBS level

Why not him?

Because traditionally these flash in the pan G5 coaches do not work out. And that is what he is. He is 9-1 this year but was 33-32 for his career heading into this season. That shouldn't get you the keys to a program like LSU. He has zero experience coaching in the SEC or at a comparable program at all at any point in his career. Houston, Tx Tech (pre-big12), Incarnate Word, Wash St, and N Texas are all the stops he's made. We need a coach who is used to the pressure both on the field and with the politics of the position. We need someone who has faced adversity under the size microscope that comes with this job.

Everyone who points to the QBs he's coached - ok let's bring him in as OC. We were paying Denbrock more than Morris is currently making. We are currently paying Blake Baker almost double what he's making.

kiff isnt a pipe dream, its either us or florida

but even if he does come...why the hell would we jump directly to a g5 coach?

why would we not go after someone more proven? why not a coordinator at a P4 school? both have better track records than G5 flavor of the month guys

exactly....if we are going G5 coach, lets go with the one with SEC experience.

but i mean Drink, Dillingham and Fisch from P4 would be better and Golesh from g5 would be better hires.

Morris is not a serious candidate. Like 10 people would have to say no not serious

I mean, he has clearly elevated the program. They are going to win 11-12 games and UNT has never won 10 in their history.

Morris has put together a good offense for UNT but I’d have to imagine he’s somewhere between in the tier with Sheppard and well below Golesh.

If LSU hires him it means they were told no by a lot of coaches.

He’s may be a good coach but the jury is still definitely out. He needs to go to an Okie St, Mich St level program and be successful for 2 or 3 seasons to get one of the big time jobs
