They were really good Saturday. Combined for 175 yards and a score on 29 touches.
Caden - 15 touches for 99 yards (6.6 yards per touch) and a score. Finally looked healthy.
Harlem - 14 touches for 76 yards (5.4 yards per touch) and could've added 10 more yards and a score had he not made the smart decision to slide and end the game instead of walking into the endzone with a minute left.

Running game did look better, but that was a very bad defense we played.
Arky offense is pretty dang good though and our defense held them (and their mobile QB) to 15 points. Some luck along the way, but still a solid outing on the scoreboard.

Ark derped the hell out that game. INT at end of half was hilarious. They had 2nd and goal from the 1 and didnt score. PI on overthrown ball on LSUs last drive of half leading to fg.

That's how I envisioned them being used at the start of the season and I was hoping K. Jackson would be our big bruiser back.

Should Arkansas have scored more? Of course, but even if you give Arkansas’a offense 2 more TDs, take away the special teams TD and give LSU that last TD, then LSU still wins.

Caden still looks like his first step is slow and doesn't have the breakaway speed he had when he got his first starts.

It's been looking better before we played Arkansas. Just the first time we actually committed to running it and stuck with it hence the increase in carries.

I thought he was too small to carry a full workload last year. So he bulked up and has the strength to break tackles or fall forward, but seems to have lost a step with the added weight/muscle.
If LSU can bring back both Durham and Berry next year, I think you’ll see Durham be more explosive and Berry add some strength. Could form an elite duo.

He did seem quicker earlier in his career. He is slippery but being light he really needs a roadgrading OL or else he will get thrown around. I want to see the quickness and burst come back, he was exciting
Berry is a good back, as expected. He has good vision, speed, burst and elusiveness. Again, a smaller back who needs some help from the line. He falls forward better than Durham.
We need a bigger back with real talent to punish tacklers early in the game.

For next year, I would try and find a bruiser. Have 2 really good scat backs as mentioned. Need somebody to pound when needed.
