I didn't even know louisiana had a state fair. I went to Minnesota state fair last year and it was a blast. Very interesting food options.

Wait, the “state” fair is in Shreveport?
I mean, I wouldn’t go if it was next to my house. But Shreveport somehow putting on an event that claims to represent a showcasing of the entire state seems stupid.

Since 1906. Also has a slightly smaller Parker Coliseum on the fairgrounds.
