This has nothing to do with MVB, but with this putrid OL, Nuss needs to focus on getting healthy and preparing for the next stage of his life. I think we can all agree this atrocious OL and horrible OL coach has cost Nuss enough money and returning would only further damage his NFL stock.

Nuss, you have enough good film out there to show what you can do when you're healthy, so go get healthy and ready for the combine and we look forward to seeing you at the next level.

Yeah, he's taken a lot of bullets, some justified and some not. Wish him the best moving forward.

From what I understand there is a lot more to the Nuss story, and he gave far from a 3 million dollar effort that we paid him.

Best of luck but take your money and gtfo

He should have had enough self respect to bench himself if he was really hurt. Instead he put himself ahead of the team. He got fat and lazy on NIL money. If he had had even 1/4th the competitiveness of Burrow or Daniels, LSU might've made the playoffs this year.

I never really forgave him for sitting out that bowl game. It may have been the smart business decision but don't ever say he gave his all.

And since it seens his time is over just one more mention of his striking resemblance to Nixon from Band of Brothers. I'd post a pic but I'm old and I don't know how.

It isn’t some deep rooted conspiracy. Scarborough said in late September he was one of the laziest quarterbacks he’s seen at the op center and was roasted for the accusation.

Now Ruffino was saying yesterday a lot is going to eventually come out in due time about Nussmeier’s efforts and work ethic, despite LSU paying the kid millions.

You don’t have to spell it out in crayon what happened. I’m sure he’s a decent human but I have zero sympathy for a kid who was wrongfully paid millions of dollars.

Never saw any of that on the field.

[Edit]: Didn't start yesterday, so add that to your Nuss story. $3 million down the drain for nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Will this pre-season Heisman frontrunner even be invited to the Senior Bowl?

NFL? Is Doug gonna get him a job as an analyst for the Saints or something? Surely you don’t think he’s NFL QB material

Going into the season I thought he was no worse than a 2nd round pick. Maybe a stretch as a 1st. But no matter how much I'd like to I can't unsee his fecal play this year. I doubt the NFL can either.

If he had you and fans like you would be labeling him a "Quitter".

Sorry but no one is going to bench themselves if they think they can play through the injury. And LSU wasnt going to sniff the playoffs with that O line and OC

So last year was a fluke? You guys believe inside stories because it follows what you want to hear.

If he got injured in fall practice they really mismanaged the injury. He should have probably sat the first few games of the season to get healthy.
