Are North Louisiana and Southern Arkansas almost exactly the same?

It seems like the terrain and culture are quite similar in both places. The only decent place in North Louisiana is Ruston and there’s not much else good about that region of the state.

The old families up there live in both states. Many are born in one and live in the other. They have cousins in both.

Pretty much. If you don’t like pine trees and small hills you probably won’t like either.

South Louisiana trying to make North Louisiana part of another state isn't the flex you think it is.

Ruston is still the nicest city in Louisiana.

Please just stop this stupid arse thread. We all live in Louisiana. Is the south much better the north? The hunting is in the north and the food is in the south. We get it.

Let us know when Shreveport or Monroe requires a state bailout to make the payroll. The tards running New Orleans don’t even know with reasonable accuracy how many city employees they have.

No, not at all. I worked in S Ark for a few years. The average IQ had to be 25 points lower there. In the entire hospital, I could find only 3 RNs that had any sense whatsoever. The entire hospital was staffed with very low IQs. And the people in general were just R'ed.

Did you expect a bugs bunnyesque line of demarcation where one side of the border is lush and green and the other is a desert??

I live in Haughton and it’s pretty nice. And I don’t have to keep my head on a swivel like I did in Baton Rouge. North and south Bossier are pretty nice too.

Alexandria to just south of Pine Bluff is all the same. Lots of flat farm land and nothingness
