I'm willing to give mickey 3 years to rebuild this since the Carr era was a "I think we can contend"

He has 2 years left to me as a fan.

Shows just how out of touch she really is with the team and reality.

When I think of experts on pro-football Gayle Benson is at the very top of the list. If anyone knows the job of a NFL GM it’s Gayle Benson after all she was in interior decorator before she married into money.

She doesn’t know.

She has put both franchises in the hands of people who are punchlines in their respective leagues.

The problem is that she is so disconnected and lacks so much knowledge that she doesn’t naturally see or understand that the Pelicans basically gave away a franchise changing draft pick during the draft last year.

She doesn’t realize that Mickey isn’t even a football guy.

I'm annoyed of his stupidity, but he's obviously not going anywhere yet. She's giving him a chance to rebuild, the sooner people accept that the less annoying it becomes.

Year 1 and it looks like a promising draft class so far.

Starting safety (sanker)
Backup running back, cornerback, and linebacker (Neal, riley, stutsman)
Possible starting qb (shough)

That's a start
