Lane could turn MVB into a good QB

Lane is great with elevating a QB, but what he did with Chambliss this year is exceptional.
If we got him, I think he could turn MVB into a very good QB who could win us games.
MVB looks unpolished and uncoached, but the tools are there to be an upper SEC QB.
Dilly could do this too if Lane doesn’t come.
Hope he’s our 2nd look.

Maybe if MVB was willing to stay as a backup and develop. We need a big guy at QB right now. MVB can develop a lot more in many areas and be a good backup option for now. If LSU goes in next season with him as the guy even with Kiffin we in trouble no offense to MVB. I like him and think he can develop to be much more but too soon.

There are too many issues that need to be fixed before we can say KIFFIN or any HC can turn MVB into an all-SEC QB
1) Kiffin or a stud offensive minded HC needs to be hired
2) MVB would need to take the position seriously enough to train and put in the work like JD5 did.
3) we will need more true can’t miss portal studs for the OL that can run block and pass block at an all-SEC caliber
4) will need more can’t miss WR studs — this year’s crop sucked
5) will need a better replacement for Sharp at TE
A LOT has to change before we can say if MVB can be a good LSU QB — but much of it has to do with him, 1st

Lane isn't making a move to LSU so that he can have a scrub like MVB as his QB. He would come to LSU to be able to land the next heisman winner

MVB isn’t the guy. We need bigger, faster, more athletic, and a more accurate passer.
However, he did get us the win with his legs in the 4th quarter. Context: this could be the worse defense we’ve played this year.
Don’t sleep on the Hilltoppers next week. They’re 7-2 and scoring 30 points a game. Allowing 22 and change.
