Target can do this, small businesses cannot.

This is why Big Corporations will win.

That's nothing compared to the $0.17 I saved on Joe Biden's 4th of July meal extravaganza

A Christmas inflatable at Home Depot was truly jaw dropping.

If they built their business model on buying cheap stuff china makes cheaply thru the use of slave labor, screw 'em.

Thank you DJT for making this one of the best holiday seasons ever.

More people can buy a Thanksgiving dinner and buy gifts for their loved one than ever before. Could you imagine where we’d be with Kamala? Hell she’d probably cancel Christmas.

I live in a town that told Walmart multiple times to piss off. Outside of our Dairy Queen (local franchise that went bust in multiple locations), every small business is doing fine. We can drive 45 minutes to the closest Walmart or order items not available in town through Amazon.

Has nothing to do with this.
Big corporations can take a loss or lower margin and survive temporarily. Small to medium business cannot

The revenue is in being able to find efficiency and undercut your competitors.

This will have a bigger impact than just Target. Companies don't care about your philosophical ideals, much to the disappointment of the people who believe their shite doesn't stink and we must hear your every word.

The real world is about adapting or dying.

How many people shop at local grocery stores?

I rarely see a supermarket that’s locally owned and not a chain

Blah blah blah blah. China is not selling their products to businesses here at cost+10%. They are selling those products to businesses here at whatever the market will bear. If the businesses here cease to exist, china cannot sell their products and chinas profit will go to zero. Therefore they will lower their wholesale prices to absorb the tariffs.

Take hammers. If an American hammer costs $25 to make and sells for $39.95. The chinese know this. The chinese likely can make their hammer with lesser materials and slave labor for $6. The chinese set their wholesale price at 24.95 which allows resellers here to sell the hammers for 29.95 here and make a profit. Also allows china to make $18.95 in profit. If the tariff comes in and forces American resellers to be unable to sell the hammers, china loses all of that 18.95 in profit. Chine will lower their wholesale price to compensate for the tariff. Resellers continue to sell hammers and china continues to make a profit (though a smaller one).
