Lots of smoke about lane leaving OM

Right now the rumors suggest to Florida but I don’t see that happening
It’s clear that sexton is using this to ramp up the bidding war, and Klatt said ole miss and lsu will write blank checks while UF won’t.
Thats true because the UAA doesn’t really want to hire Lane, but they know that the boosters and fans do, so they are going through the motions to make it look like they’re trying to do it but our secretly hoping that LSU or even ole miss will outbid us, which is going to happen
Lane kiffin to lsu, Kliff Kingsbury to UF

Where do you get your info from? My guess is Riley to Florida and Lane to LSU

But the smoke about lane leaving is coming from ole miss 247 and boards.

I agree lane to lsu is highly likely
Riley to UF is something I’ve heard too along with Kliff Kingsbury.
Not sure if Riley leaves usc or if he does if he doesn’t go to a Texas school.
Not to mention does Riley want to coach in the SEC? I don’t think so, so I’m leaning towards Kliff as most likely outcome

I want Saban.

I don't even know who I want at this point.
LK is a fool if he leaves OM for UF or LSU, both schools have proven they have VERY short leashes and crazy expectations and are proving they are a financial disaster to deal with. Lane hasn't proven anything YET and he could go from the hottest coach on the market where he is able to force OM's hand to do just about anything to really screwing it up in a few years if he doesn't win a NC at LSU or UF. All risk, very little chance for reward.....and he would have to sustain it.
I love LSU, but I think their recent antics are KILLING any chance of a great coach taking a risk with this shite show.

Napier was under .500 after 3 seasons and we brought him back for a 4th

Yeah, the two most common arguments used against UF were proven wrong by Napier.
Number 1 is that we have a quick trigger to fire every coach. Napier got brought back one more year than he should have. Any SEC team would fire Billy at the point he got axed. LSU fans should appreciate the Mullen firing because it was basically the same situation as Brian Kelly, minus the realtor lover. The guy got lazy, and despite looking decent on paper, needed to go. It was due to off the field stuff. Same with Mac and the fake death threats.
The second one is that we have a meddling AD and boosters. Well our AD and boosters did both tell Napier it would be best if he took more of a CEO role, and he refused to do it and maintained the playcalling. They didn’t fire him on the spot. They let the season play out and saw there was still no hope with Billy calling plays. If Billy had brought in a true OC last offseason, he is still coaching for us next year most likely. Meddling boosters or administration would have fired him last year for his refusal. Ours gave him enough rope to hang himself.

Let it go. He’s not coming back and never was.

He’s been below par at every stop as a head coach. Couldn’t even muster anything great with Mahomes.

No way you guys are considering Kingsbury. Why would you go that route and not just go with Kiffin if you're looking for a young coach who revitalized himself? Kingsbury is like a temu Kiffin.

Saban is 74 years old and RETIRED DUE TO NIL!! Stop with this nonsense

Lincoln Riley is not a candidate for UF.
When/if he leaves USC it would be for a program in TX.

CAW, if you know the "rumors" that are out there (which aren't all rumors), you would have as much confidence as the rest of us
