It has been a very long time since I have been to a 11am game in tiger stadium. What will the sun/shade situation be like? I realize it won't be scorching hot, just curious.

Lower Southwest Endzone will be in the shade...will never give up those tickets just for that reason alone (life saver for the rare day games in September).

You should be in the shade

at that time the sun is almost directly above the stadium...so picture the sun being straight up and casting light rays down. Unless youre sitting under an overhang you will be getting direct sunlight for the whole game.

Fun fact for everyone to remember: You can still get sunburnt when it feels cold outside.

Well, the sun usually rises in the east and sets in the west. At ~12:00 pm in November it's generally directly overhead (maybe slightly more facing the east sideline). The east sideline will face the sun all game

If you sit in the east upper, you’ll feel like you’re so close to the sun you can hear it.

I’m east side, just bring the sunglasses and sun screen. That’s always my advice for these day games.

The sun is definitely not directly overhead in November, it will be more southerly because we are approaching the winter solstice which means it will continue to rise further south and trace the sky at a lower more southern angle. Unless I missed something and tiger stadium is now in South America the sun will never be directly overhead head in November. Certain areas of the south end zone will have some shade. Most of the stadium will be in the sun.

The upper parts of section 420 are in the shade for 230 games in September… With the sun being more in the south in November, it's even more shaded…

Wrong. Mid-upper 419 is ALWAYS in the shade. One reason why we won’t much.

I believe at 11:45 the only shade you will find is underneath the overhang for the upper deck

You're good. It will be in the shade before 11 am.

Well you can thank Nuss for sucking the life out of the program. Now we are stuck in the crappy noon kickoff.

Wrong. Game time ranges are predetermined at the beginning of the season. This was always going to be a day kickoff. Could have been 2:30 pm but Arkansas is dead last in the SEC so not Nuss's fault.
