quote:
Reza Pahlavi, and he lives in exile in the United States. He has lived in the U.S. since before the 1979 revolution and has spent much of his adult life in the Washington, D.C. area. He is the most prominent opposition figure to Iran's current government, advocating for regime change, and has a history of training as a jet fighter pilot in Texas before the revolution.
That would be interesting...

Kind of a cheap comment. I don't know how it plays out but the mullahs are sweating.

Iran is suffering severe water shortages:
And power outages:
And the mullahs have given up enforcing the wearing of hijabs after massive protests in 2022. Which further accentuates their loss of control over the populace.
They are at a tipping point and Im certain the nulands of the world are sniffing oil and gas, ah as the door closes to ukraine another opens......

Iran is experiencing a severe, long-term water crisis that has led to huge shortages across the country, driven by a combination of climate change and decades of water mismanagement. Major cities like Tehran and Mashhad face critical situations, with some dam reservoirs supplying these areas falling below 3% capacity.
And power outages:
quote:
Since February 2025, Iran has been suffering from daily blackouts, each lasting for 3-4 hours.[13]
The energy shortage does not equally effect all segmants of the population. For example, in Teheran, northern neighbourhoods experiencing only 1% of outages while poorer southern districts endured 32%.[5]
The dual crises condition have led to dire food shortages and 2025 Iranian protests and mass transportations sector labor strikes
And the mullahs have given up enforcing the wearing of hijabs after massive protests in 2022. Which further accentuates their loss of control over the populace.

The water issues are significant, similar to what drove the Syrian civil war.
