Their message board on ON3 has Elko as their #1 target along with Deboer.

Drink is up there too on their list.

This was a list compiled by their Shea Dixon insider so it’s not a random joe.

Hard to imagine it. Unless they have some ties to Penn State. They aren’t going to be able to offer more money than A&M will pay for Elko and same for DeBoer & Bama assuming the Bama folks still like him.

Penn St isn’t as good a program as TAMU or even same stratosphere as Bama. Coaches move up, not down.

He is a jersey guy I think so it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility. He is more than likely going to be in the playoffs though so not sure they would be able to wait on him.

Elko is from NJ and played football in Pennsylvania (just learned that)

They’re as delusional as this board is with Saban

Maybe they should rehire Franklin. Those 2 aren't going to PSU.

I don’t see anyone having success leaving Bama voluntarily.

aTm on the other hand, I guess it’s possible but I’m not sure Penn State is the job they’d leave for.

Considering Elko attended University of Pennsylvania I would say there would be a mutual interest.

No way Elko goes anywhere. He will get whatever he wants.

You don't leave Alabama to go to Penn St.

Yeah Pennsylvania as a state has as unique a football culture as any in the nation. If they put the press on him I don’t think it’s THAT crazy to think he’d listen.

Biggest hurdle for them AM going very far in the playoffs.

Be crazy to leave A&M unless he and his family just love the north east that much

Would love it if he did. Elko is a hell of a coach. Aggies got them a good one I hate to say.

I'm afraid he going to get a massive contract soon.
