A lot of people were saying Franklin, but some of the big reports are saying no - it's apparently way bigger than Franklin.

Many of them are saying it could be Gruden. (I know I know)

Anyone have info?

It takes an intellectual poster to make a case for Jon Gruden.

Gruden has done nothing to make me believe he would be a good college coach.

He won a SB in his 1st year in Tampa, with Tony Dungy's team, and then got progressively worse until he was canned by the team he won a SB with. His 2nd stint in the NFL with the Raiders he never won over 8 games in a season. His overall coaching record is 117-112 (51.1% wins).

Jeff Fisher has a better overall winning percentage (173-165, 51.2%) than Gruden yet people act like Gruden is great but wouldn't touch Fisher.

against a raider super bowl team he BUILT.

great intellectual honesty there pal.

if you do not think gruden has a real good offensive mind you are football ignorant. does not mean he would pan out as that all depends on mant factors. many coaches can fail in the not for long NFL yet succeed in college.

gruden is a brand. Will attract recruits. Raise HUGE NIL money. Has strong Barstool ties that stole our lunch from underneath us. I see gruden as a strong CEO type HC that will bring energy and enthusiasm with a qb developer type role. He's likable. Those traits alone will go a long ways in today's college football.

Is Gruden a bigger hire than Franklin? Gruden flamed out a few times. Hes a Superbowl winning Coach who did fantastic his first time at the Raiders and with Tampa but he flamed out pretty quickly.

Franklin has been a winning HC in the College ranks are we sure that Gruden would be successful in the current landscape of College Football?

I never said he wasn't a good offensive mind. I think he is a great offensive mind. I just don't think he is a good head coach.

He coached 15 seasons in the NFL: Only 6 of them were winning seasons. the other 9 he finished with a .500 record or worse

10-15 years he was .500 or better.

2 of the 5 losing seasons being 7-9.

Coaching in the NFL is hard. Much harder than being a HC in today's collegiate landscape with a huge NIL advantage.

Have you seen Gruden on YouTube opening those boxes of football gear that get sent to him? He looks like he has CTE or something..

My Arkansas buddy just texted me that it's Franklin. Four hours ago he said it was Daboll.

They don't know anything.
