Seems like it over-performed. Wasn’t supposed to be visible to the naked eye below Little Rock but here on the state line it was very visible.

The view from my neighborhood. Unfortunately, I’m not home and can’t see them from where I’m at

Saw them in South Lafourche.

It was the same color a few years ago for another major solar storm.

I want to see the green aurora, but I would have to be further north or it could be one of those potential civilization ending solar flares that would wipe out all modern electronics to get one that strong down here.

Working up in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois right now. Hotel is actually in Normal so I’m only about 10 minutes away from farmland. Took about a 20 minute drive up that way and was deep in the farmland, just me and the windmills.

That pesky “comet” I3/Atlas is stirring up trouble on the sun, no doubt.

First time for me to be able to actually see them with the naked eye here in North Alabama. Supposed to be even better tonight.

Beside my house last night abut 10:00pm

When visible this far South, shouldn't they just be called "The Lights"?

And to think, if it weren't for all the chemtrails being sprayed in our atmosphere we wouldn't get to see the pretty sky colors like we do now.
