Here’s what I know 11-11

Good evening gents,

We will start with all the news today about BK. I am told the expectation is this gets settled before it ever reaches a courtroom at around 29-35 million.
The public meltdown from LSU fans/national media over this situation is far overblown.
Meaning there is not much worry in the building this effects the interest or the ability to make a big hire as their next HC.
Coaches know Kelly is a slime ball.


Let’s get into coaching rumors…

I am still going to beat this drum. I was told again today LSU was given a number on Nick Saban from Sexton. They didn’t say no.
Again the chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again but there is a legit offer out there.
Never say Never.

Lane Kiffin is the hottest name currently in the search. I am told from a strong source that it is either Ole Miss or LSU. He will not be leaving for Florida.
The latest I heard (couple days ago) reads as follows
“LSU and Lane both want this to happen but neither want to rush it”
Lane is in the middle of a playoff push but for lack of a better phrase “if there was a gun to my head” I would tell you LSUs next head coach would be Lane Kiffin

It is weirdly quiet on all other names. I really have not heard anything worth saying about another name.
Lanning and Freeman I was told “calls will be made, but Stars would have to align perfectly”

There are 2 names I can definitively tell you will not be LSUs next head coach and that is Jon Sumrall and Eli Drinkwitz. I have it on good word LSU is not extending an offer to either.

We got a long winter ahead of us men, let’s make the best of it and let’s hope we make the right hire!
