PJ Fleck at LSU

I have long thought PJ Fleck would do very well here. Looking at his resume:
He took Western Michigan, who has never done anything of note, from 1-11 to 13-1 in 4 years, showing steady improvement along the way.
He then took over at Minnesota. Again showing steady improvement, leading to the 2019 season, which at 11-2 was Minnesota’s best season since the 1950’s.
Then came Covid and the summer of 2020. You may remember the George Floyd situation happened in Minneapolis and was a huge deal in their community and the locker room. He essentially had to rebuild the program a second time. After an abbreviated 3-4 season in 2020, he re stabilized the program and has been at 8 or 9 wins, the historic ceiling for Minnesota, ever since.
He is not able to get much talent up there but has maximized what he has gotten. He would rebuild the culture here immediately! Let’s Reaux The Boat!!

I think Fleck would win a title here.
I also think we'd have some 7-5 years as the norm.

His Row the Boat and rah rah shite would wear thin quickly.
I thought he was a good candidate back in 21, but he’s been pretty stagnant at Minnesota.

Ultimately, he may be one of the finalists for the job if we keep having lawsuits and Cajun interventioners .
He can join Clark Lea in the good hair club of the SEC

He better learn to push pole a pirogue.

Yeah I got you. I also think he would do well. Dude was super high on my list when Miles was fired. The shine might be off the rose a little bit being at Minnesota for so long but he’s still overachieving considering the realistic expectations of that program.
