This dude screwed LSU so hard. This was a money grab from the get go.
Him and Nuss were basically insider trading with Trace Armstrong at Baton Rouges expense.
3 mil in NIL money after we just coincidentally gave up on Bryce... not because Nuss was a superstar. He never was... but he conveniently became our only choice and chance
Now hes being an arse about the buyout. This is all just embarrassing

A smear campaign would not hurt Kelly. It would hurt LSU because it would prevent Kelly from getting another job that pays well and mitigates some of the buy out.

The minute you say you aren't going to honor a signed contract is the moment you lose your top candidates. Nobody of any stature will sign a contract if you won't honor signed contracts from previous coaches.
