I know they averted the 2nd one by taking a TO, but still!

I sat through Miles ball for years. I enjoyed the odd delay of game after a TO here and there, sure.

But this was almost elevated to a work of art Saturday night.

We have burned at least one time out every single game because our coaching staff takes an entire play clock to relay to the team which side of the field they want to throw the screen pass to this time.

Don't forget the 1st play on offense in the game AND the first play after halftime were both false start penalties

I'm convinced it's performance art. We should bring in Yoko Ono as Leader of Culture.

The only reason Nussmeier is still starting is his NIL package.

Our inability to get plays called on time has been one of the most frustrating things about this offense the past two years.

Last year was the first season with helmet communications in CFB, so every team had to adjust to some extent. But that excuse doesn’t fly this year, nor does it fly coming out of a timeout.

It’s almost like we don’t even have a head coach

Yep. Everyone knows you need a head coach so you can run two plays in a row. That's just Coaching 101.

Vanderbilt did it against us in 1997. And they're supposed to be smart.

I swear that LSU has struggled with delay of game penalties for 20 years now. It's almost endemic to our program.

WR rotations and play calls get in late far too often. Especially when we get into the redzone or the extended redzone.

WR rotations has cost us several potential red zone scores this year. And it is never seamless. I’m not sure Hankton is worth keeping as this is his responsibility.

To be fair, Frank would have chosen to be a head coach almost anywhere else if he had the opportunity.

Likewise, Atkins would have chosen to be an OC almost anywhere else if he had the opportunity.

So we didn’t roll into Tuscaloosa with even the B team on Saturday - by choice of the BOS and the check writers.

Frank said LSU was having issues with the in helmet communication during the game. That could explain some of the issues.

It was painful to watch.
