I dont know if I have ever seen a QB do that

Statues don’t run for their lives like that

That was comical, embarrassing and sad! Dude had room to step up in pocket, roll wider right , hell there was even a decent sized running lane opened up there. He chose to freak out !!

He ran vertically towards the other end zone. Unreal

I thought he was going to run forward to pickup the first down. Any QB not names Nuss would have gained yards on that play.

He saw the right end for Bama was in the process of beating the double team. Nuss probably saw that and turned back, thinking that maybe 57 had done something other than push his player into Nuss. If Nuss cuts right, like all the geniuses say he should have, he gets sacked. Nuss was getting sacked regardless on the play. It was a total collapse by the O-line.

All he needs to do is step forward and then left.
He would still have several seconds to make a decision and throw the ball

I cannot even imagine what the film room sessions are like. It isn't a one off either it has been consistent all season. I can't understand how Nuss or the coaches have been this bad.

He was looking left and had 3 receivers that were all blanketed. The entire clip is only 6 seconds, so he wouldn't have had several seconds. If Curne does anything that resembles a block, then Nuss probably hits Johnson out of the backfield.
However, I know the cool thing is to shite on Nuss and say, "Well, if MVB was in, then he would have scored two TDs on that play."

He didnt have to, step up into a pocket.

Curne gets beat but he has the guy running past the play if Nuss steps up. That sack is 100% Nuss' fault.

Dude played very questionable that game.

Has to be one if the dumbest takes I’ve heard from this game, lol. He steps up in the pocket and he can drift left it allows him a lot of time to throw. Curne #57 was doing as he is taught to do. It’s not a good job of it, but he he is taught the ride his player up the field and out of the play. Nuss has to step up into the pocket. He has a ton of room and time if he just drifts slightly to his left and up. He could even go right genius. You see that check down to #8? If the defensive player comes after him all he has to do is dump it off for a big gain. He didn’t even see the running back right in front of him.

Curne is doing his job. He’s staying engaged and running a faster dend upfield and out of the play. That is what he is coached to do. The qb has to move and adjust in the pocket.
