Will it even matter? NYC drives the vote in that state. The wealthy are whistling past the graveyard if they think candidates like Zoran and AOC won’t eventually be running everything there. Exit taxes are already a thing in California. It’s better to get out before it’s too late.

This is what I was thinking. After watching 'Blue Bloods' seems that Albany has a lot of control over what NYC is able to do.
Hochul hasnt shy'd away from saying this won't happen. Days before the election she said the rich have no more to give before they leave. She can't afford for all the migration out of NY.
They've lost a ton of people since COVID. She said 1.5% pay a 3rd of taxes. Can't keep tapping that well.
But of course there's video of crazy leftie White woman saying they need to increase taxes on the middle class too.
Trump Admin is going to have to be vigilant on how much foreign money the new mayor gets into the city to support his wants that he won't be able to get from native taxpayers.
