I honestly wouldn’t mind it AFTER we build a real o-line. Draft or FA or both.
But he’s die in NOLA right now.

"Experts" were predicting him to be a top 3 pick coming into the year. You conveniently left that out.

I’m old enough to remember posters being called shite fans for thinking it would be a letdown to finally suck enough to have a high pick and Nuss be the prize.

Nuss is a such a bitch.

worse than Derek Carr.

and Carr can throw a better pass than Nuss when not pressured and it's not even close.

Dude got benched for Michael Van Buren, who is not an NFL caliber QB at all. Get off the Nuss bus, even if it stops at round 7.

They could also draft me if I finally declare. Both of us will have the same nfl impact: ZERO

If we’re not in love with the round 1 QBs I’m all for taking a Nuss, Beck, Klubnik, Allar level guy as long as it’s 4th round or later since we’ll have 5 picks that late. Knowing Mickey it will either waste another 2nd rounder or trade for Kyler or Tua’s bloated contract though

He'll be a Saint for sure.

I just hope the Saints don't take him in the First Round.

I don’t see a high football IQ. The mental toughness to play the game is lacking. I don’t think the player can compartmentalize bad plays and situations.

Nuss has shown he has an NFL arm, can make tough throws, but better have a great OL and a run game.

He’s regressed into a legitimately bad college qb. He won’t be drafted.

Good lord don’t even joke about that. Any pick used on him is wasted. He doesn’t belong anywhere near an NFL roster.

Agreed. I still think his ceiling is a Brad Johnson type career. But he’s in the wrong offense (stupidly being forced to run RPO) and broken at the moment.

I’d take him as a developmental player in the 7th or priority UDFA.
