Stop with the Dillingham nonsense. He is not leaving AZ St period.

He and his wife are from Phoenix. Both AZ St graduates. His sister is his next door neighbor. His parents live 3 doors down from his home. His in laws 5 doors down. His wife is going to have their second child in January. He as met with his entire team and told them he is not going anywhere. His dream job according to him was head coach at AZ St. End of story.

That does seem to be a lot to overcome. However money does strange things to people. I do think the alma mater gets a little overplayed alot of times.

Think about the hot coaches the last couple of coaching changes cycle. Hugh Freeze, Billy Napier, Lincoln Riley, etc. Your value window can open and close very quickly. I’m not if or where he goes, but there’s an above average chance he doesn’t see this opportunity again if he says no now
