If it's made mostly w/practical effects it will be great. If it's a CG fest it'll be poop.

No in between.

Given it's timing, are we getting another Christmas Gremlin's movie?

I'll be cautiously optimistic on this one.

Joe Dante is still alive. Get that man back in the director's chair.

This right here. Please, please, please, use practical gremlins. Those things gave me nightmares as a kid in all the best ways.

I did the math and I was five when 2 came out. Saw it in theaters and a bunch of times after.

The difference between what was "acceptable" for us to see back then vs my kids today never fails to make me chuckle. I was seeing some nightmare fuel every other month with two older brothers.

I was a kid when gremlins came out and 15 when gremlins two came out. I hope the new one is family friendly like the first two. I gotta admit, I liked the second one a lot more. It was a comedy. They really thought each gremlin through

Same here to both of those! Hah! Well, I don't know if I saw the 2nd one in theaters, but it was on HBO constantly for years after that. I probably saw it right when it got to HBO, and I had already seen the first one. I had 2 older brothers as well, so I watched all kinds of crazy shite at a young age.

Gremlins was one of the reasons why they came out with the PG13 rating. Before that, the ratings were G, PG, R, and X.

All the time. So many movies are stuck in my mind from HBO during those long summers when parents were at work.

You have 10 hours to fill you can rot your brain and still play outside all in the same day.

Yeah, HBO loved to show 2 . I would always see the same part over and over again. Those twins were in Terminator 2 weren't they?

We likely had very similar childhoods. My summers were pretty much the same.

I loved them because they were funny. They were assholes and loved every minute of it.

I think the Gremlin in the microwave is what did it. Maybe the blender.

Dante’s “Gremlins 2: The New Batch,” arguably the superior film, came in 1990 and served as a satirical spin on capitalist culture as the creatures take over a corporation’s skyscraper and its many floors.

Does anyone think Gremlins 2 is superior to 1?

Since Clamp in Gremlins 2 was based on Trump, what are the chances Clamp is now the President in Gremlins 3?

Just because we watched it as kids, that doesn't mean the OG Gremlins was "family friendly".

Have you seen it as an adult? It's dark AF.
