I never thought we’d get a follow up after Huddleston blew up. Loved S1. Hugh Laurie killed it and Elizabeth Debicki was smoke.

I loved S1. I made a post a couple of months ago because I just happened to stumble on news of S2 and had no idea it was going to happen.

I just caught up on the latest episode of Season 2 last night. A new episode tonight I think. I am enjoying the second season as well. Wasn't expecting this.

It’s been 10 years since the first season. I can’t remember anything about the plot other than I liked it. Do I need to rewatch it before diving into season 2?

I had not watched the first season until this past week. There are only six episodes so I think it would be pretty beneficial, especially if you don't recall that much.

My only issue with season 2 is the writing is definitely not as good and tight as season 1. Still a good watch but given no source material, the writers are creating forced drama/tension:
Example 1: Hiddleston goes to steal the documents from office at night. The main bad guy shows up, enters the same room to do frick all (walk around, take a phone call, then leave) ... why? (Critical Drinkers voice: Don't know). Obviously to create a moment of suspense/tension that Hiddleston could be caught ... it's just lazy writing.
Also, the girl is a smoke show but her gen z acting style doesn't fit the genre.
But overall it's a decent show since there is so much worse available ...

I’m having a hard time not seeing her as Camila from Daisy Jones and the Six. She’s not bad, it’s just jarring I think given how nice that character was.
That said we finished Episode 3 last night and holy frick. Thought that’s who it would be but wowza.
