How long do Democrats keep the government shut down for?

I think most thought it would end this week or next but now that they had election success they’re going to keep things shut down for longer.
The GOP needs to message nonstop that they are holding the government hostage and causing all of this.

They’re digging in.
Even Dicky Blumenthal said this week the Democrats can’t end it and get nothing. They have to walk away from their shut down with something.
What that is? Idk because Republicans and Americans see this Democrat shakedown for what it is.

Maybe so. But there are more people than you that are impacted by this.
Holiday air travel will be a mess. Airlines will lose a lot of money and travelers will be pissed when their trips home are cancelled.
Also heard that some regional banks are having liquidity issues because they aren't getting deposits from customers who get government paychecks. There has been more withdrawals at the Fed's discount window which points to strains in the banking system.

There needs to be two votes on the same CR twice a day from here forward. 5AM and 9:30 PM.

They made TEMPORARY tax credits and now are hurting real people and pretending that they aren’t holding the government hostage to extend their TEMPORARY tax credits that they could’ve made permanent.
They are truly evil.

If they want to keep it shut down I'm cool with it. The rest of us just need to cease paying for services not rendered. There's no reason to send money to people who aren't doing anything.

That’s not happening. They’re not being forced into extending a temporary tax credit that was intended to be only for relief during COVID.
