Trump could end H1B RIGHT THIS INSTANT without congressional approval. Why doesn't he?

What better time to show the working man you are actually America First in a time of record job cuts, mass layoffs, and new college grades finding it very difficult to find entry level work. Ending H1B and other work visas for foreigners won't even require congressional approval. Could be done with a stroke of a pen.
Why not take this easy layup to help change the narrative if this administration truly is America First? Why do we need hordes of foreigners working entry and mid level tech jobs when thousands of Americans are being laid off daily and are being shut out from the job market?
Do we really need visas for foreigners to take jobs like QA Analyst, Scrum Master, Data Analyst, Kubernetes Engineer, or other entry to mid level roles that could easily be done by our own American college graduates?

You almost had the makings of an intelligent point but you fail to grasp basic economic concepts. I am going to break it down for you: businesses love cheap labor and without it most tech companies would enact layoffs of relocate. Just because Trump is America first doesn’t mean most businesses or politicians are. Without tariffs there is no America First which you also fail to grasp

Trump could do a lot of things right now to help out American citizens but he's too busy renaming bodies of water and military bases and handing out pardons to Bitcoin crooks

It is kinda funny. The whole argument behind Trump the first time around is he's so rich that he doesn't need any money from anyone.
