a pro basketball player from Israel. He is either so good that MM doesn’t need to play him until the competition picks up, or he sucks. I’m curious which it is.

Or he's coming off injury...

I have watched lots of basketball last 3 days, and I have learned there are hundreds of Europeans like Zipper this year…and most suck. Kind of baffles me since I looked at box scores and Zipper was playing against former SEC players who were pretty good in college.
I think Zipper just isn’t fast/athletic enough. He has a pure shot

Same. I have been at practice, but I figured he was good enough to get minutes.

Overseas ball is extremely different from the USA. Players overseas are skilled, but the game is slower, more methodical, and less athletic.
You can be skilled but lagging behind athetically/physically (which seems to be the case with Zipper)

Coming off injury, but why let facts mess up your preemptive bitching?

His one shot looked solid tonight, but MacKinnon is playing in front of him and has shown to be a solid scorer, 3 pt shooter, and ball handler at 6'6". King is backing Max up as a big 6'5" shooting guard, and we have another guy at 6'4" who is supposed to be a 3 pt specialist.
There is a bit of a logjam, but McMahon has shown a bias towards 3 guard lineups, so there should be opportunity for Zipper if he competes hard in practice.

Not good enough defensively at this tine to get significant minutes
