What are the chances he comes back next year? Missed a lot of ball this season, possibly some draft capital. Also not the season you want to go out on. Thoughts?

I think Weeks, Aaron Anderson, and Perkins would come back for their senior season with the right coaching hire and NIL deal.

I’ll take Anderson back.

Perkins and Weeks can go.

Didn’t Perkins already come back for his senior season?

slow LBs are not “slow” because of speed. They are slow because of everything else: read, anticipation, ability to cut, and on and on. Coverage for an inside guy isn’t the same as smaller outside guys. He has plenty of speed and can cut. He is going to very well at the combine. He is also a 4.4 guy which is plenty fast enough to cover most TEs.

Whit is projected to go in the first 2 rounds, lol. He isn’t slow. You see how our defense has done without him spying on running QBs. West is too slow. Whit is actually pretty quick.

I think some of our fans don't actually know that they're 2 different people.

He only played in 4 games last season before tearing his ACL. He could come back as a 5th year senior

Whit Weeks is NOT too slow at all for the NFL. What MIGHT downgrade Weeks is he can't stay healthy. ACL injury in the bowl game last season and missing multiple games with this ankle bone bruise. Don't remember if he had another injury this season. The NFL doesn't reward players for not being on the field...no matter how good they are.

Whit is likely around a 4.6

I’ve seen him run down faster QBs from behind.
He was 12.2 100M runner as a sophomore in high school.
He probably came in at 4.6 (although there is no official time I could find. and maybe 6’2” 225.
He has definitely gotten bigger and faster in the last 3 years. Plus with the combine, he will be training on start and everything else. If his ankle is healed his shuttle time should be excellent.
His 40 time will improve by at least .1 to .2. That’s why they train for that event.
His speed is there.

Hey a-hole...big damn deal. He suffered a gruesome ankle in the bowl game...carted off the field IF you watched the game. I said a torn ACL. Thanks Dr Oz. I had the bowl game part right and the fact that he suffered a serious injury to the lower leg. Apparently, your mother let you on the computer again unsupervised. What a picky POS you must be...have any friends?
