Your understanding of TDS is lacking. It is not simply "opposing Trump."
It is opposing Trump even though he is supporting something you used to claim to support.
It is making up excuses to smear Trump like "2 scoops of ice cream."
It is twisting his words so you can bitch about something he never really said.
It is immediately taking the opposite stance of Trump even though you know nothing about the subject.
If Obama had pushed for lower taxes, we would not have bitched about it because ODS was never a thing. Once you have a full understanding of TDS, you will easily see how it differs from normal opposition.

"Dislike of a candidate" is normal. But that's not what we're seeing since 2016. Trump Derangement Syndrome is it's own thing altogether, and completely unprecedented.
How many conservatives were filmed at the gym on the treadmill just steadily holding up middle fingers while Obama was speaking on the television? How many conservatives were coming unhinged in public places like restaurants and grocery stores, and verbally and physically assaulting people for wearing Obama hats? How many conservatives were organizing completely unhinged and pointless protests nationwide when Obama upheld the laws of our nation and deported 3,000,000 illegal immigrants? How many conservatives attempted to assassinate Obama and Biden?
Serious as I can be here, if you can't see that Trump Derangement Syndrome is something totally different than the levels of vitriolic animosity shown in public before his political emergence, I really strongly suggest looking into it.

TDS has morphed from making fun of “literally Hitler” accusations to a strawman dismissal of valid criticism.
