Good. A year before midterms. This is a wonderful warning.

This far Republicans lost state-level seats to Democratic Socialists in three statewide offices and 13 House of Delegates seats in Virginia, plus two on Georgia's Public Service Commission. But there are still plenty of local races that are competitive

Interesting state the DSA have won over 250 races across the country since 2019.

There's a lot of soft lazy people in this country and that number increases by the day. Add in high prices and salaries not keeping up with inflation and that's how you get socialism.

Have they all embraced socialism?

Have they changed the name of the party to democratic socialist?

Or are you just using that name for dramatic effect?

Johnny DuPree, a Democrat who served as the mayor of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, for 16 years, has flipped a Republican-held Mississippi Senate seat.

With 92% of the vote in as of 9 p.m. Tuesday, DuPree led Republican Anna Rush in the special election for Mississippi Senate District 45 by a 71%-29% margin.

Tallying local elections and trying to extrapolate them to elections a full year away is just so fricking stupid.

The GOP is going to lose seats and vote share next year. Duh. But it absolutely will not be because of local and state elections in blue states a year in advance.

Not surprising tbh. When you make a lot of changes you piss people off. Should have seen this coming.

Many in the Democratic Party seem to be embracing it vs running from it. I’ve been trying to figure this one out as well.

For many of us, we simply equate socialism with communism. Thus, and at least in our minds - ‘Game Over!’ ..‘They’re just a bunch of woke commie bastards’

That’s somewhat of a ‘false sense of security’ because they’re being very vocal and diligent in their support of and working within the confines of capitalism, democracy and the private sector.

Considering the political climate right now, it’s become a real threat. Again, within those confines, they’re defining and embracing ‘socialism’ as a practical appeal for social, economic and political equality.

So you are saying that democrats are supporting socialists candidates while backed by a very complicit media?
