With 90% reporting, Mayor Elect Mamdani has more than half the vote, which means he beats Cuomo 1 on 1. Maybe this saves us from lecture tweet from Bill Ackman tomorrow

And no one is questioning a 30% higher turnout. Joe Biden got 81 million votes.

Would not have made a difference. If every voter who backed him had gone for Cuomo, he still would not have won.

Every possible metric indicating high turnout for weeks now.

30%?

The guy literally made it his entire campaign to draw out young people to vote. It’s really not hard to believe, at all. You’re only talking a couple hundred thousand votes in a city with 5 million voters that usually has 25% turnout, if that. Is it that difficult to believe that 35-40% of people voted in an election that was forced down the entire country’s throat for three months?

I don’t think it is.

Almost like they were hedging against the guardian angel the dropping out last minute. Curious they got so many to turn out for a controversial Muslim. Very curious

Nope. New York's population has a third world character now. You're going to see one hell of a Jewish exodus to Florida in the next couple years.

We don't want those Jewish people

They support all this and are not welcome here - stay in the place you screwed up

Also - I see a very bad restaurant trend about to develop / just a hunch

It wouldn't have mattered. Most of the R votes would never vote for Cuomo regardless.

It would not. Even if Cuomo got 100% of the Sliwa vote (highly unlikely too), he could not win.
